im going to a show here in NYC next week, which is an "All for the Hall" benefit. It's a pretty cool lineup. An acoustic (I think) show with Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris and Paul Simon.
question is, wasn't Keith all about All For the Hall? Or is this different because it's not in Nashville. Did he do one of those benefits this year in Nashville or just skip it?
There is more than one All For The Hall. There wasn't one in Nashville this year. Keith was too busy flying from one continent to another.

The orb no doubt has now abandoned the Hall because his "BENEFIT FOR ORB" has not had the desired effect of salvaging his drizzling up music career. It's about being on the pathetic Idol and shilling crap on HSN. He took the All for the Hall "effort" from Gill who was doing the concerts on the east and west coasts for years prior…and he attempted to exploit his "good deed" for CMA award votes. When it didn't help him get CMA Entertainer…nor even a nom…he moved the BENEFIT FOR ORB from end of the year…first to the early year for the other awards vote shilling… to mid year. Now apparently no show this year. He's too busy attempting to salvage his shot career.

"Well first of all, I can guarantee you that more people than "just Pulse posters" are VERY upset over the outcome of this song. And while I don't work for Capitol nor am related to Keith, I all but have lost sleep over this situation. Some will say that he's got 19 #1's and some will not. I'm in favor of anything and everything that makes things official, and without the BB apparently it doesn't"…." I just cannot fathom why Chesney's label felt the need to do that, new CEO or not. They got the point across when they shot the song up from 4 to 1. That doesn't mean that they had to do what they did."…"You'd think he could have told them to loosen the reins a bit."
"Now, if we truly want the revolving door system to go away so that we see more multi-week #1s, we have to understand that situations like this are going to happen much more often. Maybe next time it will be to Blake, FGL, or maybe even Luke."
"The problem is, we want to see an end to the revolving door because it reflects label manipulation in contrast to the "natural order" that we see on other formats' charts. When the only time a song misses #1 is when label manipulation pushes a song that is naturally less of a radio hit (SIFARD) ahead of a naturally big radio hit (JJJ), it defeats the purpose of not having a revolving door."
"We've seen labels play the chart game like a violin the past few years. The "game" they played always included a collusion type system where they agreed to play nice with each other and allow (most of the time) themselves to take turns at #1. They're all in the same business and many of them are friends away from work. That's a part of the industry many of us have expressed disgust over."
Yeah…so again, I find it hilarious…the pitiful fancies are now WHINING because the "manipulation" by the labels did not ALLOW their guy to get to #1. But of course in their dim bulb heads…IF orb had hit the "phony" #1…it would have been such a HUGE personal achievement for him! Put the bottle back in the babies mouths! Ha.

Heres Keith's take on #19. In case you missed it, he was one of the MANY surprise guests Taylor Swift invites on her tours. http://mocux.tennessean.com/story/entertainment/music/2015/10/03/keith-urban-marks-19th-no-1-taylor-swift/73280346/
